In the last autumn the creepy crawlers came rushing into our house from their outside nests seeking refuge from the impending winter winds and cold. If there is one thing I can't stand it is spiders. One night I was awoken by the howling storm and a scary dream to discover with dismay, just over my head on the ceiling was a horrible, hairy, eight legged creature that seemed to sense my fear and came creeping towards me in a slow but determined manner. I shouted, but it kept coming.
I woke my husband who had lost in the world of dreams and pushed him, half-awake through the hall shouting 'Bring the vacuum cleaner, its time to go spider-busting'.
